Happy Wheels has just been released, coinciding with the impending and dramatic demise of Flash technology. That was a close call! We apologize for any inconvenience this transition may have caused. Hopefully, the anxiety over losing Happy Wheels didn't prevent you from getting a restful night's sleep. If you weren’t aware that this game was in development, here’s some exciting news: this is the official first public release. Please bear with us as we work out any remaining bugs that may arise. Although I still prefer Flash, what I enjoy about this version is its excellent performance on mobile devices. However, please note that on-screen mobile controls are not yet integrated in this release—they will be included in the next update. Thank you for your patience. If you're eager to try it out on your phone right now, a Bluetooth keyboard works very well as an alternative control method. While I initially stated that the game would run at 60 frames per second, some of the more challenging levels may experience slight slowdown at that frame rate. A setting is available to adjust this, and I am considering hosting a dedicated 60 Hz version on a separate page for users with powerful CPUs. The rest of Happy Wheels JS aims to faithfully replicate the original in terms of design and gameplay. The user database, including levels and replays, remains unchanged since the original release. The only thing lost was the impending doom of the universe’s end. Controls: Use the arrow keys to move left and right, and press the spacebar to jump.
